Weaponsmith is a character which focuses on finding and making stronger weapons.
Features[]
Weaponsmith starts with a random weapon mod on their weapon. He cannot start with the Radiation mod.
Enemies also have an addition 3% chance to drop a weapon when killed.
Special[]
Weaponsmith can combine two weapons to create one of an equal or higher tier.

Tips[]
Useful Mutations[]
- Heavy Heart - As Weaponsmith benefits from more weapon drops, increasing the droprate from enemies will allow Weaponsmith to create higher tier weapons easier.
- Open Mind - Having multiple weapons to combine per level will massively increase the rate in which weapon quality increases
- Lucky Shot - As powerful weapons typically drain ammo much faster, Weaponsmith will likely consume ammo faster than they can regain it.
- Back Muscle - More ammo capacity allows Weaponsmith to reliably use high tier weapons in less populated levels
Unlocking Character[]
Weapon Mods are always found in inverted areas and every Crown Vault after your first visit. If you see an inverted portal, enter it and make your way to the Weapon Mod Statue.
Unlocking B-Skin[]
You can start with a Golden Weapon, which means that you would just need to find another to combine it with. If you bring an explosive weapon to 2-1 or a Wrench/Screwdriver to 3-1, you can easily find one.
Unlocking C-Skin[]
For this, you'll need to take Power Craving, as it increases the weapon mod cap to 4. Weapon mod pedestals will spawn in inverted areas and bonus areas, so either try to maximize how many you visit, or enter Crown Vaults when you can.
